This was an action in inverse eminent domain in which plaintiff alleged that the construction of Interstate Highway I-19 in the City of Nogales, Arizona, has changed or altered drainage patterns affecting her property which resulted in increased flooding of said property. The case was tried to a jury which entered a verdict of no damages in favor of the defendant and against the plaintiff, finding that the market value of plaintiffs property immediately before construction of the highway was the sum of $46,392 (the exact amount testified to by defendants appraiser); that the plaintiffs property was specially benefited by the construction of the highway in the sum of $7,732 and that the plaintiff suffered no damage to her property.
