October 4, 1990 to determine the competency of Joseph A. Shields, Jr., to stand trial on two counts of Murder in the first
degree, one count of Unlawful Sexual Penetration in the first degree and one count of Unlawful Sexual Intercourse in the first
degree. Additionally, oral argument was had before the Court on October 19, 1990, and on November 9, 1990, the Court conducted
an interview with the defendant. The case is now ready for decision.
